The Samarkand region is one of the most economically active areas of the country and plays a significant role in the development of entrepreneurship. Today, more than 36,000 business entities operate in the region, the majority of which are concentrated in the service and industrial sectors. In particular, over 11,000 operate in services, more than 4,800 in industry, around 15,000 in trade, over 2,600 in agriculture, and more than 2,300 in construction.
By the end of 2025, the volume of services reached 78.2 trillion UZS, while industrial production amounted to 57.8 trillion UZS.
JSCB “Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank” plays a key role in achieving these positive results. The bank is consistently implementing systematic measures aimed at developing industry, creating new production capacities, and supporting business entities in the region. In particular, within the framework of targeted programs implemented in 2025, a total of 4,276 citizens were engaged in entrepreneurial activities, ensuring their stable employment. This has contributed not only to job creation but also to improving the standard of living of the population.
One of the major industrial enterprises operating in the region — Azia Metall Prof LLC — is a long-standing and reliable client of the bank. The company is currently implementing 9 projects across a territory of 102 hectares. It produces up to 600,000 tons of cast iron, steel, and metal alloys annually. In addition, modern imported equipment has been introduced to expand the production of cold-rolled, galvanized, and polymer-coated steel products.
The company also demonstrates strong export potential. In 2025, its export volume reached 140 million USD, with plans to double this figure in 2026. Its products are exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Turkey, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, and several other countries. Furthermore, the use of energy-efficient technologies, including solar panels, reflects the company’s commitment to modern and sustainable production practices.
JSCB “Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank” will continue its efforts to support entrepreneurship in the regions, finance industrial projects, and create new jobs. These initiatives serve as an important factor in ensuring sustainable economic growth and improving the welfare of the population.
