A Reliable Partner on the Path to Regional Development and the Future of Education

Today, it is difficult to imagine national development without the growth of business and financial services. In this process, the role of the banking system is invaluable, as it contributes to economic activity, the creation of new jobs, and the financing of strategically important projects, thereby supporting the socio-economic development of regions.

In this context, Uzpromstroybank (SQB) has been actively participating in initiatives aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship, supporting the manufacturing and services sectors, and ensuring employment. Alongside economic projects, the Bank has also emerged as a reliable financial partner for promising initiatives in the education sector.

One such entrepreneurial project is the “Urganch Ranch” University of Technology. This year, the higher education institution commissioned a modern academic building designed to accommodate 16,000 students. The university offers fully world-class learning facilities, including modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, sports halls, and a contemporary library with spacious study areas.

Currently, more than 100 professors and lecturers are providing education to students enrolled in over 30 academic programs at the “Urganch Ranch” University of Technology. This represents an important step toward training highly qualified specialists in the region and ensuring the integration of science and practice.

The successful implementation of this project was made possible in large part by loan funds allocated by the Bank. As a result of this financial support, the educational infrastructure has been significantly strengthened, creating a modern and competitive learning environment for young people.

Commenting on the cooperation, Muzaffar Yoqubov, Director of the Registrar’s Office of the “Urganch Ranch” University of Technology, noted:

“Cooperation with SQB has marked an important stage in the development of our university. The allocated loan funds enabled the construction of a modern academic building, improved the quality of education, and helped create decent conditions for students. We regard this partnership not only as financial support, but also as confidence in the future.”

SQB is also playing an increasingly important role in the economic life of Khorezm region. As of December 1 of this year, a total of UZS 245.3 billion in loans was allocated to more than 180 business entities operating in the manufacturing and services sectors. As a result, nearly one hundred new jobs were created in the region.

These indicators clearly demonstrate the Bank’s practical contribution to regional economic development, support for entrepreneurship, and the promotion of employment. Indeed, sustainable economic growth, modern education, and competitive human capital form a solid foundation for regional progress. SQB continues to act consistently to strengthen this foundation.
